FOCUS League will be returning for 2019! Games will be on Tuesdays Thursdays, 8p-10p at the Houston Sports Park. Yup, that's right, games will be on Thursdays for 2019.

Cycle 2019-01 registration will open on Friday, February 22nd. First game will be on Thursday, February 28th. See the homepage for the full schedule.

Bummer! There will be no games in May. HSP is resting the fields; limiting field space to Dynamo and Dash programs. We wish this weren’t the case and hope to provide a competitive game in June. Stay tuned.

Thank you for the support everyone. Its been a great 2017 season. FOCUS will take a break while players practice with their respective teams to prepare for the USAU TCT. The HUC Fall League will start on Sept 13. There will be a HUC Winter League. And then FOCUS will return March 2018.

There are so many opportunities in the community for Ultimate during the summer. We have the HUC Summer League, Nasa League, club team practices, weekend tournaments, etc. Is there room for FOCUS League? You decide!

As always, FOCUS League will continue to offer competitive Ultimate if the community supports it. Numbers were dangerously low this past cycle. So please take a take a minute to fill out this google form and let us know if you still plan on coming out to FOCUS League for the remaining Tuesdays this season.

Please try to fill out the form by midnight Wednesday, June 21st. We will make a decision by Thursday afternoon. If we have enough numbers, then we will continue. If we don't have the numbers, then we will shut it down and start it back up next Spring.

Unfortunately, games are canceled for Tuesday, Mar 7th since HSP grass fields are closed due to excessive rain in the past couple days.

We are going to be reducing Cycle 2017-01 to 3 weeks from 4 weeks. We will reopen sign-up tomorrow and keep it open until Tuesday, Mar 14th, 3pm. We will announce teams by 6pm that day.

If you were signed up for 2 weeks and one of them was this week then we'll change your remaining week to a sub sign-up. Otherwise, we'll just take this week off if you were signed up for 3-4 weeks. Fees will be adjusted accordingly.

We sent out an email earlier to guage interest but some people stated they did not receive it. Of the people who did receive it, ~14 said yes. So we know we have enough for a game. If you are signed up to play tonight, then you will be receiving a $5 credit in your FOCUS League account to be used towards your next payment. If you were signed up to play last week, you will be getting $5 credit for that week as well. This is in spite of HSP not offering refunds for field rentals. Please pay your outstanding balance if you have one.

Registration for Cycle 2016-03 will open tomorrow. Cycle 2016-03 will be a 3 week cycle; May 3, May 10, and May 17.

This cycle will be 3 weeks instead of 4 because HSP threw a big ol’ wrench in our schedule yesterday afternoon! They notified us that they are going to be shutting down the fields for maintenance at the end of May through early June. They did mention that the maintenance schedule may be shortened. So for now, we have adjusted Cycle 2016-02 to 3 weeks and Cycle 2016-03 will be 2 or 3 weeks depending on availability.
